Make a Difference for a Neighbor
A few hours of your time can make a meaningful difference in the life of an older adult or adult with a disability in Lower Merion or Narberth.
ElderNet volunteers help local neighbors get to medical appointments, pick up groceries, stay connected, manage everyday tasks, and continue living safely in their homes. Whether you have an hour a week, a few hours a month, or time for an occasional project, there is a way to get involved.
Your time matters. Your skills matter. And your community needs you.
Find a Volunteer Opportunity That Fits You
Drive a Neighbor
Provide rides to medical appointments, grocery stores, or other essential destinations. Volunteer drivers make it possible for participants who can no longer drive or use public transportation to get where they need to go.
ElderNet’s on-line scheduling system provides flexible volunteer opportunities. Volunteers have access to the system to sign-up for rides that fit their individual schedule.
Help at the Food Pantry
Help stock, organize, pack, or distribute food and household essentials through ElderNet’s Community Resource Center & Food Pantry.
Be a Friendly Connection
Make a friendly phone call, visit a participant, read together, take a short walk, or simply spend time together. Small moments of connection can make a big difference.
Lend a Hand
Help with yard work, small household projects, organizing, errands, or other everyday tasks.
Share Your Skills
Have a particular skill or talent you’d like to put to work? Tell us about it. There may be a way to use your experience to support an ElderNet participant or our organization.
