Volunteer Services Program
ElderNet volunteers are compassionate members of the community who are available to help you with the following services:
Escort Driving: Volunteers provide “door through door” transportation to your medical appointments, banks, pharmacies, and other essential errands.
Grocery Shopping: Volunteers can assist you with shopping by taking you to a local grocery store and helping as needed; or going to the store with a list to shop for you if you are unable to leave your home.
Companionship: Volunteers can visit with you in the home, help to organize mail and bills, read to those who are visually impaired, or to just sit and talk either in your home or on the phone.
Odd Jobs: Volunteers provide assistance to those who need help with small repairs in your house, minor home maintenance and yard work as needed.
