We are delighted to welcome Michele Raymond as our new Executive Director! With over 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience in the Greater Philadelphia region, Michele brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to making a difference.
Michele began her career as a nurse and research assistant, contributing to chromosome mapping for illnesses and endangered species. She later discovered her passion for nonprofit work as Development Director for the Meadowbrook School, where she began supporting organizations focused on education, disability services, and senior care.
Throughout her career, Michele has held impactful roles, including:
• Interim Executive Director for New Jersey Advocates for Aging Well, supporting seniors in maintaining independence.
• Director of Development for Simpson Senior Services and Meadowood, both senior residential organizations.
• Executive Director of the Regional Parkinson Council, expanding education and service centers for individuals with Parkinson’s.
• Leadership positions in educational membership organizations, focusing on development, grants, and scholarships.
In addition to her professional achievements, Michele has served on nonprofit boards, mentored emerging leaders, and even owned her own catering business. A master gardener and amateur artist, Michele is a proud mother of two sons and a doting “Nonni” to her two granddaughters.
Michele’s vision, experience, and passion for serving others make her the ideal leader to guide us into the future. Please join us in welcoming Michele to our organization!
